How Excel training works for your team

From your first enquiry to support after the course, our group training is built around your staff and the spreadsheets they use. Here’s what to expect when you arrange an onsite Excel course.

Tell us about your team

Start with your workplace location, how many staff need training and what they use Excel for. Tell us what you want the training to help them do better. We can discuss your group’s needs and provide a quote.

Prepare for a tailored course

Before the course, attendees complete the Excel Experience.xlsx form. We also gather key Excel files your company uses. This helps us understand their roles and the tasks that matter, so the course is relevant to their work.

Discuss the workplace arrangements

We can deliver the course in your meeting room, with attendees using their usual work laptops. We’ll discuss the room, projector and practical arrangements with you before the course. If your team needs laptops for the course, ask us when you enquire.

Learn hands-on for four hours

Attendees work in Excel while step-by-step instructions are displayed on a projector. The course focuses on your team’s work and spreadsheets, rather than a generic list of features.

Receive feedback and materials

After the course, attendees complete feedback forms. We compile their feedback along with our observations and share it with their manager and HR. Course materials are emailed directly to each attendee.

Get support afterwards

Each group receives one hour of free phone support after the course to help them apply their skills at work.

Outside Auckland?

We can travel to major cities across New Zealand. Travel costs are passed on at cost, with no added margin. A participant minimum applies outside Auckland; tell us your location and group size when you enquire.
